Delta youths applaud Boroh over payment of amnesty stipends

UGHELLI—YOUTHS from Delta State under the aegis of Delta Youths Network, yesterday, applauded the coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brig-Gen. Paul Boroh (retd), on the swift response in the reinstatement of the N65, 000 monthly stipends to beneficiaries of the programme.
The youths, in a statement by its president and secretary, Napoleon Kenerekedi and Clement Iyebo, also commended the efforts of the president, Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Eric Omare, for the role he played in ensuring that the stipends are paid.
They said: “The IYC president and the Amnesty office have both exhibited that peace is the only panacea that will ameliorate sustainable developments in Niger Delta.
