THE National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, has endorsed Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for second term.
The council said that apart from Ugwuanyi being a servant-leader, he was youth-friendly with programmes that have impacted positively on them.
Rising from a town hall meeting/dialogue, the Chairman of the state chapter of NYCN said, Comrade Nnaemeka Ugwu, said the endorsement became necessary ahead of the general elections, adding that one of the mandates of the council was to educate and sensitize youths on the need to speak with one voice.
Ugwu said that youth have the capacity to shape and re-organize the political, social and economic activities of the state as they constitute over 66 percent of the population.
The council commanded the governor for an all-inclusive administration and youth-related programmes.
