MR Godie Akpama, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Cross River State, has lauded the call by leaders of Ikom community on Barrister Chris Agara to contest the 2019 election to represent Cross River Central in the Senate.
In a statement, Akpama, a former Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, said for prominent leaders of Ikom like Nja Nkangabang, Hon Tangbang, Ndoma Egodo, Barrister Miagodo, and the Woman leader in the area to unite and call on Agara to contest the election into the Senate shows the confidence the people of the area have in him.
“The people are asking for fresh breath in terms of representation in the area into the Senate and I think Agara has demonstrated enough goodwill to deserve such an honour, “ he said.
