Rochas Foundation to visit IDPs, feed thousands of poor in Imo

Owerri—The Rochas Foundation, said yesterday, that it has concluded plans to feed thousands of the less privileged in Imo state, adding that it would also visit Internally Displaced Persons, IDP camps in the Northern region by March.
The Director General of the Foundation, Mrs. Uloma Rochas Nwosu, spoke while revealing their 2018 programmes to newsmen in Owerri.
Part of its plans included: providing clothes and shelter to the poor and starting a campaign for government to make education free and a right.
Nwosu went further to say that a conference for old students of Rochas Foundation will be organized to teach them how to give to the needy in the society.
According to Uloma, “It is good I tell you that today you are seeing a new face of Rochas Foundation and what we believe is that the Foundation must outlive all of us.
“We were able to fund this Foundation because the President, Rochas Okorocha, has dedicated seventy five percent of his assets to it. We have nine foundations in this Rochas Foundation and we are putting together all our resources to achieve our programmes for this year.
“This year, we have a lot to do, under the Foundation.We have a reach out and touch lives programme to offer free medical treatment as well as feed the poor.
“We are also going to tour the northern region, where we will visit the IDP camps in March, to give them a sense of belonging.
