Igando residents appeal to Lagos CP over cult activities

Residents of Igando area of Lagos State said they are living in fear over activities of members of a cult group, Eyie, who they said have been terrorising them in recent time.
The residents, who are calling on Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, to come to their aid, disclosed that on a daily basis the cultists attack residents of the area at the close of work and the early hours of the day.
A resident told Vanguard that many had benn dispossessed of their cash, mobile phones and other valuables at gunpoint, adding that the hoodlums coordinate large residential robberies at nights within the community.
He said they had filed several complaints at the Igando Divisional Police Headquarters.
