Bauchi Police deploys 2,900 officers for Eid-el-Kabir

Bauchi State Police Command said that it has deployed 2,900 officers to strategic places in the state to ensure a hitch-free Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

State Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Lemu, said appropriate measures were being taken to forestall any breakdown of law and order during the festivity.

The commissioner, who spoke through the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kamal Abubakar, said the command had designed an operation order that will ensure the deployment of officers on surveillance patrol of identified flashpoints for violence and criminality across the state.
